The Best Cities in the U.S. for Home Sellers

With ongoing economic uncertainty and higher mortgage rates, many sellers are left wondering if the prime time to list their homes has passed. Realtor.com has recently identified the top 10 cities where sellers still have more of an advantage. To come up with the list, the data team focused on metropolitan markets where homes are selling faster than in most of the country and where price per square foot has risen the most annually. These are the top 10 seller’s markets!

Pre Approval Letters for First Time Homebuyers

When purchasing your first home, one of the first steps in the homebuying process should be obtaining a pre-approval* letter from your mortgage planner. This should be done before any house hunting takes place, whether it be in person or online. A mortgage pre-approval letter is a written statement saying that you should qualify for a particular mortgage program up to a certain loan amount. While a pre-approval does not guarantee your loan, it does provide several benefits to your home search. This is a breakdown of those benefits!

Mosquito-Repelling Plants

Spring is in full bloom, and the leaves and flowers are transforming the landscape into a gorgeous, colorful canvas. It’s the time of year for enjoying the outdoors, but there are some negatives that come with the season. Those negatives include allergies, pollen and pesky mosquitoes. Rather than loading up your skin with bug repellent, consider investing in these flowers and plants that will help ward off mosquitoes!
