The Old Vineyard neighborhood in Winston-Salem is a small residential neighborhood with well-lit sidewalks and a diverse population of less 1,000 residents.


Forming a quasi-triangular area, Old Vineyard is located between Salem Pkwy on the west and S Stratford Rd on the east and borders Old Vineyard Rd to the south and Silas Creek Pkwy on the northeast. Construction in the neighborhood began in the 1950s and continued through the decades ahead. The architectural styles and housing types are quite varied – ranging from ranch-style to mid-century and contemporary homes.


Old Vineyard sits conveniently close to Wake Forest Baptist Health and Hanes Mall, as well as multiple shopping and dining options. The area is served by Moore Magnet Elementary School. Homes in the neighborhood had a median listing price of $134,900 as of March 2020, according to Realtor.com.
